The Nassau Library Tour ran from June 12 through August 12 2023 and it was an exciting journey across the public libraries of Nassau. Thanks to everyone who participated and keep an eye for our next adventure.

A groovy summer of exploration awaits on the 2023 Nassau Library Tour!
To get started, simply pick up a tour map at any participating library and road trip to as many of Nassau’s public libraries as you can from June 12 – August 12.
Each one is your gateway into a new community–visit the library, then explore the attractions, restaurants, and parks nearby. Take a self-guided tour as a family, a team of friends, or go solo. Plus, you’ll collect prizes and invaluable memories along the way.
Make sure to visit one of the 6 Prize Center libraries (listed above) to receive your 30th and 50th visit prize.
Visit all 58 libraries to be entered to win a grand prize raffle basket!

🏆The girls won their final prize today from the 2023 Nassau Library Tour, in which they visited 58 libraries this summer. The libraries were completely out of the prizes last month, but they finally got hold of it today!🧸
📓School year starts tomorrow and it’s safe to say I’ll be busier than ever with their school assignments and a new baby 👶🏼, but I’m ready for it!
❤️I love my girls so much and I already miss our time together and our crazy summer adventure (libraries, birthday parties, parks, Splish Splash every weekend, play dates & lazy days). It’s crazy how I want to them to go to school, but at the same time I wish I could hold them close to me all day long! 🥹♥️

Did you know that Sea Cliff has one of the oldest public libraries in Nassau County? The original library opened in 1915 and then in 1968, the Sea Cliff Methodist Church donated the former church to the Village. In 1970, the adult library and museum moved into the newly renovated community center. The children’s section remains in the Stenson Building.
